Generally x-rays are taken once a year unless a specific concern is present. At Abbotsford Children's Dentistry we have child friendly techniques of taking x-rays. We are fully digital and chemical free!

Special Needs Accommodation
Our office is fully handicap-accessible. We will strive to accommodate all patients with special concerns and physical limitations. We aim to make these appointments as easy as possible for patients and caregivers. Please inform a staff member if you have any particular concerns prior to your visit.
Out of Town Patient Accommodation
We understand that some of our patients may have traveled a great distance to see us. We strive to accommodate our out of town patients by booking and completing treatment on back-to-back days (if appropriate). However, during the consultation medical history, current health status, and treatment needed will be discussed. These are all factors that determine whether or not a sedation would be appropriate for your child. For the safety of your child, it is very important that you inform our staff of all medical issues concerning your child. Please ask our receptionists about special room rates at our local hotels.
Conscious Oral Sedation
In some cases your child may be unable to receive dental treatment the conventional way. In these cases we have the option of doing a conscious oral sedation. Not all children are candidates for an in-office conscious sedation. Please discuss this option with your dental team.
